# TEINT

> Precision foundation shade finder and complexion matcher for Filipino and international cosmetics.

TEINT finds the face in a selfie (camera or upload), samples both cheeks, the jaw and the forehead, corrects for the color of the lighting, and measures skin tone in CIELAB on the user's device. Foundation and skin tint shades are ranked by CIEDE2000 color difference. Shade lists come from each brand's published shade guide; colors for researched Philippine lines are estimates from those descriptions.
